  6. 1. Description

  8. InfoLog is a timer utility that writes detailed connection log files
  9. for communication programs that do not.
  10.  
  11. The log files created by this utility can then be read by InfoMiles
  12. using the supplied INFOLOG.CFG configuration template.

  16. 2. Usage
  17.  
  18. First, the log file to write the connection information to is selected
  19. from the drop-down listbox.  This list can be modified by using the
  20. Add ( + ), Delete ( - ) and Change ( √ ) buttons.

  22. The communication program associated with the log file can
  23. optionally be defined by the user and ( Run ) directly from the
  24. control pad.  A Browse ( ... ) button is provided to locate the
  25. communication program executable file.

  27.   NOTE: When run from the control pad, the communicaion program
  28.   must be terminated before the InfoLog window can be closed.
  29.  
  30. Otherwise, the user can manually invoke the communication program
  31. in the way they normally do.

  33. When connected to the remote service, the ON ( > ) and OFF ( █ )
  34. buttons record the connect and disconnect times respectively in the
  35. selected log file.

  37.   NOTE: If the timer is running when the communication program
  38.   is terminated, and the communication program was invoked from
  39.   the control pad, the timer is automatically stopped.
